The Stellanator!

I'm a huge fan of diners, drive-ins, & dives, basically because I love food. So I made a bucket list of all the places we have to try in Omaha. Well I wanted to try Brewburgers since they were on the show, but tons of people in our area recommended we try Stella's for hamburgers and we definitely were not disappointed!
Mine, which I think is pretty big! Probably the biggest I have ever had!
Wade's double!
And then there is the...

Stellanator!
Which consists of (6) 6.5 oz burger patties, 6 fried eggs, 12 pieces of bacon, 6 pieces of cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, & Peanut Butter all on a bun served with a basket of fries.
Wade is now in training!! You have 45 minutes to eat the stellanator with a basket of fries. Only 2 out of 126 have succeeded! They are also trying to get this on my other favorite show Man v. Food.

mmmmm!
Laura & Josh
The boys wanted a picture to of their chicken strips!

Wade vs. Banana Split

We weren't kidding about Wade being in training for the Stellanator! Just warming up with a bread pan full of a banana split! Consisting of 2 bananas, a carton of ice cream, chocolate syrup, whip cream, & nuts! YUM!

In the process of making it! Cookie dough & chocolate goodness! (can't remember the name & I'm to lazy to get up!)I was actually quite jealous watching him eat it!
Challenge completed!
(and that was after a big bowl of popcorn!)

Diners, Drives-in, & Dives

Well we finally went to Brewburgers which was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives and it was quite scrumptious!
Here's mine, the inside out burger stuffed with bacon & cheese in the middle. YUM! I think my burgers keep getting bigger & bigger (along with my waist-line)!
Wade's Big Red, 1 lb of meet, 1/4 lb of cheese all served on a pretty hardy piece (loaf) of bread. Wade finished it with ease, but thought the bread was pretty challenging. He's feeling pretty confident about the Stellanator!
Our friends got the blue jay burger, (portabella mushrooms & gorgonzola cheese) which was also quite yummy and the cheesy sacramento (in the photo above). I saw that one on the show & was tempted to get it, but I didn't think I could handle all that cheese.
I love all the hamburger combination they have. I think I will start experiences more with burgers at home.
I'm definitely loving the burgers here in Omaha. I've never been asked before how I like my burgers cooked until we got here. I always assumed burgers (ground beef) needed to be cooked all the way (well done), but I guess not.
Well that's it for our burger challenges for a while due to the ever expanding waste-lines & ever decreasing poor college school budget!

Tanner's 3 year old pictures

Well I finally got around to taking Tanner's three year old pictures, a couple months late, but he is still three! I thought the older he got the easier picture taking would be, not so.

I had some fun with some free collages online.
